Bridging the gap between Mechanical Engineering fundamentals and Astrophysical frontiers.
"If life were but a poem, what would my verse be?
A bridge of structured steel toward a cosmic mystery.
I began with turning wheels and the strength of a machine,
Designing suspension systems for the paths yet to be seen.
From CAD and CFD to the aerospike's bright light,
In mechanical engineering, I found my first flight.
But the gears of earth gave way to the mechanics of the sky,
Where neutron stars and black holes make the heavy elements fly.
With Bayesian formalism, I thinned the signal's noise,
Finding truth in kilonovae with a researcher's poise.
From the mass gap to the chirp, I map the merger's light,
Guiding multimessenger dreams through the silence of the night.
When the Spacetime cluster rests and the code is finally run,
I trade the screen for mountain air and the rising of the sun.
With hiking boots and a camera lens, I travel far and wide,
From trekking peaks to valleys deep, with nature as my guide.
I capture every shadow, every trail that I have trod,
Finding math within the stars and the beauty of the sod."
My academic journey has been a transformation from understanding the nuts and bolts of terrestrial machines to exploring the supreme mechanics of the cosmos. Starting in Mechanical Engineering, I developed a rigorous foundation in fluid dynamics, simulation, and design optimization. However, I realized that the universe itself is the ultimate laboratory for these principles.
My vision is to bridge these worlds.
I aim to apply robust computational techniques, from finite volume methods to Bayesian inference pipelines, to decode the transient universe. Specifically, I am driven to solve the mysteries of compact binary mergers, using Gravitational Waves as the key to unlock the physics of extreme matter densities found in Neutron Stars.

The Challenge: Gravitational wave signals from Binary Neutron Star (BNS) and Neutron Star-Black Hole (NSBH) mergers can look dangerously similar. We established distance-independent EM classification metrics to break this degeneracy.
u-band: Rapid collapse in NSBH flux (Δm ≈ 3.38 at day 2) due to absence of high-Ye polar ejecta. BNS sustains emission.
i-band: Trend reverses. Massive, high-opacity tidal tails in NSBH increase diffusion timescales, sustaining emission longer than BNS.

Designed and optimized a double-wishbone suspension system for an SAE BAJA All-Terrain Vehicle. Focused on analyzing camber and toe curves to maximize traction and stability over rough terrain.
Conducted a CFD analysis comparing Aerospike nozzles against traditional Bell nozzles. Investigated flow separation characteristics and altitude compensation efficiency.
A study of non-linear dynamics and the Lorenz attractor. Modeled the chaotic motion of a waterwheel using Lorenz equations to demonstrate sensitivity to initial conditions.
A device which converts sentences and words from Braille language to a haptic feedback display for visually and auditory impaired people, mapping all 26 alphabets into a 6-segment display operated by 6 independent servo motors.
Investigated the directional sensitivity and blind spots of gravitational wave detectors (LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA) using PyCBC, developing mathematical models for antenna patterns and exploring mitigation strategies through multi-detector networks to improve detection sensitivity.

Star Trails
Capturing photons that have traveled for millions of years reminds me of the beauty behind the equations. I have captured multiple star trails and shades of moon through my mobile phone.
